ABOUT ME

I have always dreamt of having a blog that speaks my thoughts and emotions about a subject that I am passionate about, and that subject for me is 'Fashion and the styling that goes along with it!'  Fashion... Wow! How does one define Fashion?  I guess for me, fashion is everything that goes along with one's appearance and identity.  For me, fashion is not being afraid to wear something that makes you stand out... It is the key to individualism and expressing ones feelings and emotions through clothing and accessories!

From a very young age, I have always loved the idea of fashion... I think it was all of those beautiful long dresses and bright colours from my Mothers magazines that captivated me and I was instantly hooked!  Colours have inspired me throughout my life.  Learning that a certain colour can portray an emotion was mesmerising to me.  Red signalled love, blue signalled sadness and yellow represented happiness and so on and so forth.  It wasn't until I looked at the secondary colours that I began to get a real eye for colour!  Being able to mix colours was something that became a sort of hobby for me.... I was fixed on experimenting with different looks and I felt that certain colours looked better on me than others.  My favourite colour combinations to wear would have to be: coral and blue, pale blue and brown, pink and red and lastly chartreuse and navy!

The main themes for my upcoming blog posts will mainly consist of the seasonal trends with reference to colours, as well as the top key pieces for anyone's wardrobes.  I also will be giving out my own style advice with regards to fashion faux pas as well as sharing my style tips for those times when a waist belt becomes so handy!  But with fashion, comes beauty... so I will also be including makeup reviews, lush hauls, regular manicure posts and my latest treasures.  

With that said, I hope that you will enjoy reading my future blog posts and by following 'thatlittleshoe', it will lead you to embrace the wonderful concept of style and beauty!
